This is a KS2, years 3 to 5, teaching opportunity based in the LS7 area in a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school that we consistently receive great feedback from with a fantastic reputation. This easily accessed school’s number one priority is to teach a curriculum that has been developed to engage children’s interests whilst inspiring them to want to learn. In addition to this, they also take a prominent focus on developing children’s confidence to know that it is normal to make mistakes and to use these to improve.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and organising lesson resources, effectively teaching designated pupils whilst undertaking both behavioural and emotional support. As well as these responsibilities you will have to ensure that all general teaching duties are completed.

The rate of pay for this role will be between £120 and £210 per day depending on your levels of experience and skills.

The successful KS2 Teacher will:

  • Have previous experience teaching in key stage two.
  • Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
  • Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS.
  • Be an ambitious individual who aspires to lead.
  • Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Establish warm, caring, and supportive relationships with all pupils.
