KS2 Class Teacher Vacancy – Darwen
We are recruiting a talented and committed KS2 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Darwen. This Autumn Term position offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community, with the possibility of securing a permanent role.
The successful candidate will inspire pupils through engaging lessons and maintain high expectations for attainment, progress, and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Plan lessons that challenge and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Work effectively with teaching assistants and support staff.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Support the wider life of the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous teaching experience within a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to achieving excellent pupil outcomes.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
