KS2 Teacher – Barnsley | Full-Time | September Start or Immediate

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for your next role in a supportive and engaging primary school setting? Schools across Barnsley are actively seeking qualified KS2 teachers for immediate and September 2025 starts.


Location: Barnsley

Role: KS2 Class Teacher (Year 3 – Year 6)

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term & Temp-to-Perm Opportunities


✨ Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and the wider school team
  • Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers

✅ Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK KS2 setting
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
