A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Amesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time basis.
Located in the historic town of Amesbury, close to local amenities and with strong transport links, the school prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Is passionate about inspiring young learners
- Has excellent communication and organisational abilities

Salary will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6), depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
