KS2 Primary Teacher – Challenging Behaviour Support – Billingham

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Billingham is seeking a dedicated and resilient KS2 Teacher to take on a full-time class teaching role within a cohort that presents challenging behaviour.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a strong practitioner who can provide stability, consistency, and high-quality teaching while helping pupils develop positive behaviour, confidence, and academic progress.

Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time KS2 Teacher
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

  • Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 2

  • Leading a class with a range of behavioural needs

  • Implementing clear routines, expectations, and behaviour management strategies

  • Working closely with the senior leadership team, behaviour leads, teaching assistants, and support services

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet varied learning needs

  • Creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment where every child is valued

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS2

  • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence working with challenging behaviour

  • A patient, consistent, and trauma-informed approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to helping pupils make progress both academically and emotionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
