KS2 Class Teacher - Harrow

Location: Harrow area

Role: KS2 Class Teacher

Start Date: January 2024

Pay: £120 - 150 per day (paid on a weekly basis)

Summary of the School

This schools are looking for enthusiastic and friendly teachers to join their team. The school is full of hard-working children surrounded by supportive parents and members of staff. There is a positive learning environment with plentiful resources and materials so that children of all abilities can achieve their potential. The school also offers non-contact time for their teachers, so they have planned time to prepare for their lessons.

What does the job role involve?

  • Have a knowledge of professional teacher duties
  • Use creativity to inspire the children in their learning
  • Report effectively to parents and other members of staff
  • Establish working relationships with colleagues
  • Set tasks which challenge pupils and result in high levels of interest
  • Set clear targets and build on pupils past achievements
  • Effective use of assessment
  • Use appropriate learning resources
  • Set targets for pupils for their progress

Essential requirements and qualifications:

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

QTS or equivalent qualifications

Overseas criminal clearance

Safeguarding training

Location of the school

The school is located a 10–20-minute journey from Harrow by public transport or by car. It is a 10-minute walk from the nearest rain station and is also accessible by bus. A great location that can be reached both by public transport and your own car.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
