KS1 Teacher – South Molton
Key Stage 1 Teaching Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, creative, and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in South Molton.

This rewarding role involves teaching within Key Stage 1, supporting young learners as they build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development. It is ideal for a teacher who can create an engaging and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Role: KS1 Teacher
Location: South Molton
Pay Rate: £2,800–£3,200 per month (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Support pupils in developing early reading, writing, and maths skills
• Use phonics effectively to support early literacy development
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
• Implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies

We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential)
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A positive, patient, and flexible approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
