KS1 TEACHER

We are a ‘good’ primary school in the Blackpool area looking for a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils’ education. As a school our pupils with their families are our priority to ensure we are working in harmony to create a positive learning environment, we expect all our staff to share this ethos.
- Full time Monday to Friday.
- Competitive rates, £143 - £180 per day.
- Class sizes of 25-30 pupils.
- To start January 2025
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Our school has excellent equipment and facilities to support staff with the teaching of our pupils. Within our school we have students with varying abilities, there may be pupils within your classroom that require SEN support.
As a Year 1 Teacher you will be required to:
- Implement positive behaviour management.
- Work well with support staff in your classroom.
- Plan engaging, inclusive, education-based lessons, from a sound knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes.
- Address gaps in learning.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
