KS1 Teacher – Sheffield & Barnsley | September Start or Immediate

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Sheffield or Barnsley? We are working with a number of supportive and welcoming primary schools seeking talented teachers to join their teams for immediate starts and September 2025.


Locations: Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher

Start Date: ASAP & September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term & Temp-to-Perm


✏️ Your Role Will Involve:

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons to KS1 pupils
  • Assessing progress and adapting teaching to support all learners
  • Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, SEND staff, and parents
  • Supporting the emotional, social and academic development of children

✅ You Will Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing, flexible and enthusiastic approach
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
