KS1 Teacher - Templecombe
Full-time | Paid to Scale (M1–M6)
Start: ASAP (Following Trial Day & Informal Interview)

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and successful school located near Milborne Port, currently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is built around the ethos:

and is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their thriving team.

About the Role

The school is looking for a passionate educator with prior experience working in KS1 and supporting pupils across a range of ages and abilities. The role will include all standard teaching responsibilities, such as:

  • Planning & delivering engaging lessons
  • Marking and assessing pupil progress
  • Attending parents’ evenings
  • Contributing to the wider school community

You will be supported by a collaborative staff team and a forward-thinking leadership team, with an initial trial day and informal interview with the Executive Head Teacher as part of the selection process.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • A positive, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Commitment to the school’s shared values and ethos
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

Pay & Compliance

  • Paid to scale (M1–M6)
  • All vetting and safeguarding checks carried out through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
