Exciting Opportunity for a KS1 Teacher at a Toxteth Primary School (L8)

We are delighted to share an excellent opportunity for a qualified Primary Teacher seeking a rewarding full‑time position in Toxteth (L8). This role is for a Year 2 Teacher at a well‑established and highly regarded primary school, beginning in April 2026 and continuing for the full academic year.

Its vision is rooted firmly in its Roman Catholic ethos, with a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils and their families, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Given the significance of the KS1 SATs during this period, the Head Teacher has highlighted the importance of applicants having prior experience teaching within KS1. Whether you are a Trainee Teacher or fully qualified, a strong understanding of Year 2 expectations will be highly advantageous. Your application should demonstrate a creative yet purposeful approach to teaching and learning, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to the role and to the progress of all pupils.

ECTs will benefit from outstanding support and mentoring from the school’s KS1 Lead, ensuring a nurturing environment conducive to professional growth and development.
