Job description

We are looking for a confident, passionate, and proactive Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in the CF3 area of Cardiff. This is a full-time role (4 days per week), covering classes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

You’ll be supporting a school that values consistency, creativity, and positive relationships — and where no two days are the same!

About the Role:

  • Covering classes across KS1 and KS2, providing engaging, structured learning experiences.

  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, using a calm and consistent approach.

  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a supportive environment.

  • Delivering planned lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

  • Working alongside a supportive and experienced staff team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in UK primary schools.

  • Strong classroom management skills and experience supporting challenging behaviour.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching across different year groups.

  • A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children’s progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
