How does the idea of working flexibly on the days you want to work sound?
Are you looking for a flexible teaching position that fits around your schedule?
As a supply teacher through Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to do ad hoc cover on the days that suit you and work on a flexible basis to your needs.
Pay: £120-£160 per day and to scale after 12 weeks in placement
Location - Wakefield and Kirklees (Huddersfield)
Start Date: January 2024
Contract: Flexible to you! Full-time or part-time
We are currently recruiting for primary Teachers to work across schools in Wakefield (WF4 to start November 2023. As a supply teacher, you will have full access to your own diary, allowing you to pick and choose when you work. This position is perfect for those who want to maintain a healthy work-life balance or who have other commitments outside of work. We welcome both experienced and newly qualified teachers to apply, as long as you have a passion for teaching and a positive attitude towards learning.
The schools we work with will vary in distance from your house, however you can tell us how far you are willing to travel and to what areas. As a supply teacher, you would deliver the work left by the class teacher and leave brief feedback at the end of the day.
We are looking for an excellent class teacher who:
- Is professional, passionate, and driven.
- Is confident with behaviour management.
- Has enthusiasm and a passion about education and learning.
- Can demonstrate excellent teaching consistently.
- Are determined to achieve high standards and progress for all our children.
- Is committed to whole school improvement through being part of, and contributing to, a whole school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
