KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers Required – Lancaster and Surrounding Areas
Locations: Lancaster • Morecambe • Heysham
Start Date: January 2026 onwards
Contract Types: Day‑to‑Day • Short‑Term • Long‑Term • Temporary
Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a range of primary schools across Lancaster and the surrounding areas who require skilled, adaptable, and committed KS1 and KS2 Supply Teachers. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking teachers who are confident delivering high‑quality learning across different year groups and can integrate successfully into new school environments.
About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for teachers seeking either flexible supply work or more consistent, longer‑term placements. Assignments vary from day‑to‑day cover to extended absences, allowing you to build experience across a range of classrooms while maintaining control over your working schedule.
Candidate Requirements
We welcome applications from teachers who can demonstrate:
- Strong classroom management skills across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- The ability to adapt quickly to different school settings and teaching styles
- A professional and supportive approach when working with pupils of varying abilities
- A commitment to delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (advantageous but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
