Teaching Personnel are currently working with a 3-form entry Primary School in the centre of Wakefield. They are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work five days per week across upper Key Stage 2. This role is to start June 6th, 2022, and will be until December to support the transition from year 5 to year 6. In addition to assisting in the classroom, the role will entail working with around 10 – 12 children delivering a differentiated intervention curriculum.
The role is expected to be long term, potentially permanent due to the ongoing gaps in learning that were left due to home learning. The school are looking for an experienced learning support assistant, however, you do not have to have had experience in a school setting, however experience working with young children is essential. The school are looking for a practitioner who is Level 2 or 3 qualified or above. The hours will be 8:45 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
