Year 5 (KS2) teacher is required for January 2021 for school in Weymouth.

Are you looking for a primary teaching job within Year 5 in Weymouth? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a lovely one-form entry Primary school on an exclusive basis to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher. If you have recent teaching experience within KS2 and are looking for a full time position in Weymouth then we would like to hear from you.

This year 5 primary school based teaching job is a full time role and is due to start from January 2021 until at least July 2021 - there is a possibility of it becoming a permanent role.

The ideal candidate for this Year 5 teaching job will have recent experience teaching within KS2 and be able to show strong classroom management skills. Examples of KS2 primary school experience must be provided at interview, along with a full employment history.

Professional development is actively encouraged at this school and they are keen to take on board new ideas from forward thinking teaching colleagues. The Head Teacher has been keen to develop a supportive team and management responsibilities are shared amongst all staff. This has helped to develop in all staff a very clear understanding of the schools aims and ethos. All staff benefit from a good programme of continued professional development and have access to many training courses via Teaching Personnels CPD Academy. Teachers are well supported by governors, the leadership team and a range of effective non-teaching staff including administrators, teaching assistants and specialist Learning Support Practitioners.

You will need the following requirements to be considered for this post:

  • Recent experience within KS2 over the last two years
  • PGCE in primary or degree level equivalent
