Job description

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a kind, inclusive, and Ofsted-rated Good Primary School in Reading, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This welcoming school places children at the heart of everything they do. Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing, inspiring environment where every pupil is valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and Teaching Personnel to support pupil progress

  • Assessing and tracking learning to ensure all children thrive

  • Upholding the school’s values of kindness, inclusion, and respect

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Passion for teaching and supporting children’s development

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners

  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
