Key stage 2 class teacher

We are recruiting a qualified and experienced KS2 class teacher to work as daily supply in a lovely local Northampton school. 

We are looking for someone who is experienced in Year 5 and 6 and has a strong and secure knowledge of the National curriculum and the assessments linked to upper KS2.

The role does not require you to complete any planning or preparing however this is an additional option if this is something you wish to be responsible for.

Our schools are able to offer additional training to those who would like to extend their subject knowledge and you will also have a dedicated consultant who will support you with placements.

We are looking for a qualified teacher who:

- Hold QTS

- Experience teaching in KS2

- A secure knowledge of the national curriculum and the KS2 assessments including SATs

- Understanding of safeguarding procedures 

- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

This role will enable you to make a difference in the lives of students but with the ability to work around your own personal committments. 

The role is ideally for the summer term however there may be an option of this being extended into the new academic year for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
