Are you a supportive, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a full‑time TA to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school from September 2026. The successful candidate will be placed in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on where their skills and experience are best suited.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of pupils. You will help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in‑class support to pupils and assist with lesson delivery
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
• Support teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
• Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care
• Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has experience working in a primary school setting
• Is confident supporting learners in KS1 or KS2
• Is patient, nurturing, and motivated
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is adaptable and able to use their initiative
• Holds a relevant qualification (or has equivalent experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
