IT and Core Subjects Tutor - Warrington (WA1)

TP-Tutors are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced IT and Core Subjects Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils in the Warrington (WA1) area.

This role involves supporting students across Information Technology, English, Maths, and other core subjects, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils is essential.

The role:

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions in IT and core subjects
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Identify learning gaps and implement targeted intervention strategies
• Monitor progress and complete session reports following each lesson

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience
• Strong knowledge of IT and core subjects curriculum
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential)
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
