Job description

Teaching Personnel are the largest education specific agency in the UK. Our Plymouth branch is now on the lookout for talented individuals to join our flexible workforce and meet the demands of the schools that currently work in partnership with us.

We are currently seeking a number of intervention specialists with particular core subjects such as Maths, English or Science and have a primary focus. We are also interested in the following experience:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Read Write Inc, Letters & Sounds and Jolly Phonics

There will be many different options available to suit all diaries from part to full time roles, long or short term assignments as well as the block bookings and day cover for those with existing commitments or don’t want to stay in the same school for longer periods of time.

What we are looking for:

  • You have been a previous subject lead.
  • You have supported various members of staff to raise attainment.
  • You have received particularly good SATs results in a core subject and have a proven track record of raising attainment.
  • You have worked with small groups of children predominantly in the lead up to assessments in order to excel progress and prepare children to take crucial examinations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
