Intervention Support Worker – Bury Area
Supply Agency Position | Multiple Local Schools

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Intervention Support Worker to join our team on a supply basis, providing crucial support to pupils across a range of local schools in Bury, Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for those looking to make a tangible impact on pupils’ educational progress by supporting their individual needs whilst positively impacting your work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance to meet their learning objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of intervention plans in collaboration with other members of staff.
  • Track pupil progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary to ensure continued development.
  • Promote positive learning behaviours
  • Support pupils in building both academic skills and personal confidence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in working with children or young people, particularly in an educational or support environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, empathetic approach with a focus on enhancing student engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
