Job description

ICT Teacher (Computer Science) – Gillingham
Part-Time | Starting January 2026

A well-established and forward-thinking secondary school in Gillingham is looking to appoint a motivated ICT Teacher to join their team. This part-time role is scheduled to start in January 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons at Key Stages 4 and 5, supporting students in developing strong digital and computing skills.

This position follows a two-week timetable: Week A – Friday, Week B – Wednesday.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)

  • Ability to teach Computer Science to students in Years 11 and 12

  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage learners

  • Flexibility in adapting lessons to meet the needs of all students
