Position: Teacher of Computing / ICT / Business
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Contract Type: Full‑Time
Start Date: Ideally January 2026
Salary: £30,000 – £45,697
About the Role
A school in Bournemouth is seeking a passionate, motivated and highly skilled ICT / Computing Teacher to join its ambitious and supportive team. The successful candidate will deliver inspirational, interactive and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all pupils are challenged, supported, and able to achieve their best.
We welcome teachers who bring creativity, energy, and strong subject expertise, with a commitment to raising standards and delivering high‑quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computing / IT / Business across KS3–KS4.
- Plan and deliver inspirational, interactive lessons that stretch and support all learners.
- Contribute to a robust curriculum and effective assessment framework.
- Engage in extra‑curricular provision and enrichment opportunities.
- Uphold high expectations and ambitious standards for all pupils.

- Strong subject knowledge in Computing / ICT (and ideally Business).
- Excellent classroom practice with the ability to bring the subject alive.
- Ability to raise standards and contribute to rapid school improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
