Humanities Teacher (History Specialism) – Full-Time, Summer Term
Poole | Start Date: 13th April

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream secondary school in Poole who are looking to appoint a full-time Humanities Teacher with a specialism in History for the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging Humanities lessons with a strong focus on History. The role is for the summer term, with the potential to continue into a permanent position in September if it’s the right fit for both the school and the successful candidate.

The Role:

  • Teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on History
  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Support students in developing their knowledge and critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching Humanities, ideally with a History specialism
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A passion for History and student progress
