Humanities Teacher (History / Geography / RE)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience.

You will play a key role in fostering a love of learning for subjects such as History, Geography and Religious Education, helping students develop critical thinking, global awareness and analytical skills.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent
  • Has strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines
  • Can deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students
  • Is committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners
  • Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is a team player with a positive, proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
