Job description

Part-Time Humanities ECT – September Start | Christchurch | Fixed Term (1 Year)

Teaching Personnel, a trusted education recruitment agency with a proven track record of placing educators into fulfilling roles, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Humanities for a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Christchurch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Humanities specialist looking to begin their teaching career on a part-time basis (3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), starting in September for the full academic year.

The Role:
You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering subjects such as History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies. The role offers the chance to inspire curiosity about the world while developing students’ critical thinking and analytical skills. You will be supported through a structured ECT induction programme, tailored to your part-time schedule.
