Role: Humanities Teacher (History & Geography)
Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire
Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term / Permanent
Start: January start

A secondary school in Rugeley is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to deliver History and Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher to join a supportive department and make a positive impact on pupils’ engagement and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Teach History and Geography across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons

Differentiate effectively to meet a range of abilities

Track pupil progress and contribute to assessment

Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment

Work collaboratively within the Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Ability to teach both History and Geography confidently
-
Strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
-
Good behaviour management and organisation
-
Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards
-
ECTs and experienced teachers welcome

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
