**TEACHING PERSONNEL PAY TO SCALE FOR ALL LONG TERM TEACHING ROLES **

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED HISTORY OR GEOGRAPHY TEACHER? ARE YOU NEWLY QUALIFIED TO TEACH HISTORY OR GEOGRAPHY? ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A NEW ROLE?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and driven teacher of Humanities for a well-established secondary school in Birmingham. 

The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, hard-working and looking to encourage and support the learning of the young people to KS3 and KS4 level. If successful, the perfect candidate will have a vast understanding of their subject and thrive in a supportive school community with a well-developed humanities department. This role is perfect for an experienced teacher of Humanities looking for something new as well as newly qualified Geography and History teachers. 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • UK Teacher qualification with QTS 
  • DBS certification 
  • Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 level (KS5 also desirable)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and executing lessons on a daily basis 
  • Vast understanding of the Geography or History curriculum 
  • Excellent front of class management and general behaviour management 
  • Understanding of safeguarding protocols and procedures 
  • Passion for Humanities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
