Pay Rate: £100-£110 per day (DOE)
Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact in a Year 6 classroom? Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a wonderful primary school based in Huyton (L36). This role involves working closely with the Year 6 teaching team to prepare pupils for SATs, build confidence and deliver targeted support.
The Role
As the Year 6 HLTA, you will:
- Deliver planned lessons and interventions, supporting pupils with preparation ahead of SATs.
- Lead small‑group activities focused on English, maths and revision strategies.
- Offer in‑class support, adapting learning for a range of abilities.
- Provide high‑quality classroom cover where needed.
- Work closely with the Year 6 teacher and leadership team to raise attainment and maintain positive behaviour.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to boost engagement, motivation and progress.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HLTA confident in upper‑KS2 curriculum content and passionate about pupil outcomes.
