Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of multiple mainstream Secondary Schools within the South Birmingham area who are looking to employ HLTA's on a full time basis. 

As a HLTA your roles and responsibilities within the school will be, but not limited to:

- Supporting class teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.

- Delivering planned lessons or activities in absence of the subject teacher.

- Delivering lessons to small groups or on a 1:1 basis away from the main classroom enviroment.

- Supporting students who have additional learning needs or require additional support.

- Helping pupils develop literacy, numeracy and other academic skills.

- Managing classroom behaviour behaviour and promotion positive behaviour.

- Working alongside professionals in and outside the school enviroment.

- Communicating with parents, carers and colleagues where required.

Supporting school policies relating to safeguarding, health and saftey, equality and behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
