A successful secondary school in Yeovil is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about bringing the past to life and inspiring students to develop a love of history.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encouraging students to explore historical events, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their full potential.
The role includes:

Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 experience desirable)

Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons

Developing students’ understanding of historical events, concepts, and interpretations

Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes

Contributing to the wider life and values of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
