History Teacher (4 Days per Week)
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Part-Time (4 Days per Week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school on a part-time basis, working four days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Humanities department.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
  • Possesses excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Has the ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
