Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (dependent on experience)

History Teacher – Salisbury

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Create stimulating learning experiences that develop historical enquiry and critical thinking.

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.

• Work collaboratively with Humanities colleagues to develop curriculum resources.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting.

• Strong behaviour management and classroom practice.

• Passion for inspiring young people and promoting academic success.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
