Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that bring history to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for History
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
