We are working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated History Teachers for immediate starts and upcoming vacancies. These opportunities are suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers who are eager to inspire the next generation through engaging and thought-provoking history lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop their understanding of significant historical events, critical thinking skills, and a genuine curiosity about the world around them. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic potential.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be an excellent communicator, confident in classroom management, and committed to delivering engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
