KS3/KS4 History Teacher

BB4 Area, Lancashire | Full-Time | January 2027 Start

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher for a full-time position commencing in January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to join a supportive humanities department and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school prides itself on high standards, strong leadership, and creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Monitor and support student progress, raising attainment where required.
  • Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching History within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
  • Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all learners.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

Pay:

Competitive daily rates of pay in line with experience and qualifications.
