History Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Bristol
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Are you a passionate and inspiring History Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic History Teachers to work within secondary schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for dedicated educators who can bring history to life and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT) looking to begin your teaching journey, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and a passion for history
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and wider departments

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or be working towards qualification
  • Have strong subject knowledge in History
  • Be passionate about education and student progress
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
