This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 while becoming part of a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Inspire students to develop curiosity, analytical thinking and a deeper understanding of historical events.

• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.

• Support enrichment opportunities including educational visits and extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History.

• A commitment to raising standards and supporting every learner to achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
