Higher Level Teaching Assistants
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support Secondary schools across Salisbury and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for experienced teaching assistants or qualified HLTAs who are confident supporting teachers, leading small group interventions, and occasionally covering lessons.
We are also offering a potential full time role at one of our schools in Salisbury. The religious school are looking for a dedicated and versatile Learning Support Assistant to join their team. If this is something that interests you, please get in touch.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Lead small group or whole-class learning activities
- Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs where required
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
