Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Callington Area
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2026 (with potential Temp-to-Perm opportunity)
Start Date: 3rd September 2025
Salary: £24,130 FTE | 30 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Closing Date: Tuesday 9th July 2025
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Callington area from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and who is confident delivering lessons and leading learning in the absence of the class teacher.

The successful candidate will:

Hold HLTA status or equivalent experience

Be confident supporting and delivering learning across a range of subjects

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community

Be flexible, reliable, and proactive in supporting school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
