Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? About the Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic HLTA to work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences. You may be supporting whole-class teaching, leading small intervention groups, and providing targeted support to pupils to help them reach their full potential.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative, supporting diverse learning needs, and making a real impact in the classroom.
Key Details
- Start Date: 20th April (flexible for the right candidate)
- Role Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
- Pay: £1,900–£2,400 per month (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Your Responsibilities
- Support and, where appropriate, lead whole-class learning under teacher direction
- Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions
- Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
What We’re Looking For
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of the curriculum
- Confidence leading learning activities independently
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Experience supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable but not essential.
