Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Temporary with Potential for Permanent Contract
Pay Rate: £100–£110 per day

A large primary school in Birkenhead (CH41) is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their team on a fixed-term contract starting in February 2026, continuing throughout the academic year, with the potential to become permanent.
The role involves providing cover for PPA time and staff absences across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, so experience in both stages is highly desirable. The school is rated GOOD by Ofsted and enjoys an excellent reputation within the local community. As a larger-than-average school, it offers fantastic opportunities for professional development and career progression for ambitious educators.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
