Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic High Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a well-regarded education setting in the Christchurch area.
This role supports learners aged 5 to 16 and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with an immediate start available.
Positions are available across both primary and secondary age ranges, providing a varied and rewarding working experience.

The Role
The working day is 8.30am to 3.30pm. As a High Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers and other professionals.

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties and associated learning needs

Delivering targeted interventions and supporting small groups or individuals

Assisting with planning and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs

Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and independence

Supporting pupils across both primary and secondary settings
Essential Requirements

A minimum of six months’ childcare experience
-
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN needs

The ability to drive and access to transport, due to the location of the school

A calm, confident and proactive approach
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate for this role is £13.75 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
