Salary: UQT Scale 1–6 (£21,731–£33,902)

Job Summary:
Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in the Kettering area with the recruitment of a passionate and experienced Hair and Beauty Tutor. This is a unique opportunity to shape a brand-new vocational curriculum and bring industry-level learning into the classroom. The role is due to commence in September 2025 on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will play a key role in launching a new Hair and Beauty pathway, including the creation of an on-site, industry-standard salon and the design of a bespoke curriculum that prepares learners for both further education and the world of work.
We are looking for someone who:

Has industry qualifications and experience in Hair and/or Beauty.

Ideally has experience working with young people in a teaching, mentoring, or training capacity.

Is passionate about vocational education and inspiring students to achieve.

Values inclusion, collaboration, and creating opportunities for all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
