Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary Schools (Wigan) – September 2025 Start

The Role:

• Full-time positions in primary and secondary schools across Wigan.
• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with learning and development.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN) or those needing extra academic guidance.
• Gain practical classroom experience before progressing into teaching, educational psychology, or other education-based careers.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in any subject – ideal for those considering a career in education.
• A positive and proactive approach to working with young people.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
