WORKING IN SEND SCHOOLS

We offer placements in mainstream and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools, providing opportunities to develop specialist teaching skills.

In SEND Settings You'll Experience:

  • Smaller class sizes and higher staff-to-student ratios
  • Specialized training in SEND strategies and individualized learning
  • Work with students with diverse needs including autism, learning disabilities, and social/emotional challenges
  • Expertise in alternative communication methods and assistive technologies
  • Strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Entry requirements for teacher training:

  • Degree from UK institution or international equivalent
  • GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or higher
  • GCSE Maths at Grade C/4 or higher
  • GCSE Science at Grade C/4 or higher (Primary only)

Equivalency tests and subject knowledge courses available if needed.
