Location: Birmingham
Salary: DOE
Hours: Full time - 8:30-3:30
As a Graduate SEN Teacher, you will work closely with experienced teachers and SEN professionals to deliver engaging, differentiated learning to pupils with a range of needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language Needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
You will help create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of tailored lessons and interventions
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and engagement
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
- Support behaviour management strategies positively and consistently
- Monitor and record pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, or a related field
- A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- An interest in pursuing a career in SEN education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
