Teaching Personnel are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to be placed in one of our partner schools in the Manchester City Centre area. This is a full-time role and it is due to start in September and will run until the end of the academic year.

  • Full time Teaching Assistant needed
  • Post runs September – July
  • Gain experience in a great environment and learn from experienced teachers
  • Applicants of all experience levels welcome, with new graduates particularly desired
  • Earn between £77 - £90 per day

Our client has a great history of working with graduates and building up people new to the role until they are a confident member of the team. Our client is extremely proud of its SEN department, with the ethos that no child will leave the school without having at least achieved their academic potential and are fully prepared for the next step in their academic journey.

Responsibilities in the role:

  • Work as part of a wider SEN team supporting student across many subjects
  • Support students of a mixed ability and make sure the work they have set is appropriate for them
  • Develop excellent relationships with students and other staff
  • Work with students from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Communicate with parents and senior leaders on student attainment levels

The school benefits from being centrally located, with great motorway links and secure onsite parking, with a variety of regular tram, bus and train services running through Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
