Calling all Graduates or Aspring Educator!✨

Teaching Personnel is seeking confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across Secondary and SEND schools across Milton Keynes This is a fantastic opportunity for upcoming graduates or aspiring educators to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils in a structured, positive learning environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will
 deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support to students to ensure a positive and productive learning environment. This role offers valuable experience for graduates considering future careers in teaching or education support roles.

You will also have the opportunity to work across a range of subjects, gaining broad classroom experience and developing essential behaviour management and communication skills.

We are looking for confident, adaptable individuals who have graduated in any subject area, including:


• Maths
• English
• Science
• Humanities
• Languages
• Art and Design
• Psychology or Social Sciences
• Sport and Physical Activity

Graduates from all subject areas are welcome to apply.

Hours

8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

(Flexible part-time and full-time work available)

Pay

£90 - £110 depending on experience

Requirements
• A university degree (2:2 or above)
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
• Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and leading a class independently
• Ability to provide a minimum of two references from within the past two years
• Willingness to undertake CPD training as required by Teaching Personnel 


Key Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment
• Ensure pupils remain engaged, focused and on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning where required
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
